On thursday we visited the volcano Piton de la Fournaise.

We went there with the bus and during the drive we stopped to take pictures and we also tried to find some crystals next to the volcano.

The road we took was very funny because it was full of bumps and little stones.

After we went to a traditional creole restaurant and we ate rice with sausages,

chicken and some vegetables; then we also ate a potato cake with whipped cream and vanilla sauce.

After lunch we went to a volcano museum where there were paintings, holograms and videos about the history of volcanoes; also there was a panoramic room that showed a video about the history of our solar system and our planet in particular.

We also saw a 4D film and it was a very funny experience.

During the afternoon it rained a lot and we runned straight back to the bus.

We arrived at the college at half past four and then we went back home with our

hosts. It was a very beautiful and suggestive day out and we really enjoyed it.
