The first day of the program was started off with student interviews. Various students from various classes interviewed the newly arrived students fro, various countries, getting to know them better as well as collecting footage of their inteviews for their own projects.

After that, foreign students have tried the special dishes of réunion island. That included various fruits, sweets and pastries.

During that breakfeast teachers from the participating countries introduced themselves to the other students as well as to the pricipal of the school, presenting him with various gifts from their own countries.

Each students also got the chance to briefly introduce themselves.

After the breakfeast, foreign students went to the Etang salé beach do to play a orential game.

Students split into groups and got a map with various landmarks of the city to find.

When the game concluded, students took a bus back to the school, where their host families picked them up.
