It was our first day at Réunion Island and we didn’t spend it all together but with our host families.

We went to the beach of Etang Salé and Ermitage.

We swam and saw many fishes and the water was very clear. It was amazing, we had a great time spending the day with our host families.

Some families went to the market to buy souvenirs and typical Réunion dishes like: Rougail Saucisse, Carry Poulet, beans and rice.

Others went to eat sandwiches like: Panini, Américain, Lord, Gratinée.

For dessert we ate ice cream.

Most of us spent the afternoon with our host families at home or outside.
